Contemporary

In this workshop we will explore ways to apply contemporary dance techniques to fusion bellydance, and how these two languages can enrich and inform each other. The two main focuses of the intensive will be Floorwork and Spinal Waves.

We will learn a choreography that contains elements of both Floorwork and Spinal Waves and blends an organic and fluid movement quality with the isolations and accents of fusion bellydance.
